In terms of the pictures I like the ones with the simple thin black (and possibly white?) borders. While the Polaroid ones are cute I think they take emphasis away from your great pictures :)

I love apple pie but I haven´t made it that often here in Norway. I tried once, made a lovely apple pie complete with cinnamon ice cream...the family I made it for (my inlaws) turned their noses up at it...and I just haven´t been inspired to try it again since...horrible eh? But this scrumptious recipe might have been just what the doctor ordered to get me back in the apple pie saddle again....thanks for sharing ;-)

Carl wouldn't like anything 'fancy' on his apple pie either, not that I ever made him one. He hopes by my reading your blog I may learn something, and I have been. So many delicious recipes...and the sauce sounds like a definite winner, too.

I love how your husband will go out and gather supplies for you; that's something Carl would do, too, especially if it meant he was going to get a yummy pie as a reward.
